Look well to the spine for the cause of disease.” - Hippocrates
Dr. Nick loves his chosen profession and knows it offers the perfect blend of modern scientific knowledge about the human body combined with a philosophy which allows him to work with the patient’s own healing abilities. His primary focus is always to improve his patients’ current situation whether that’s by increasing range of motion, decreasing symptomatic pain or by getting to the root cause of any given problem. For this, he combines traditional hands on chiropractic adjustments, with a wide range of massage and soft tissue techniques, aimed at relaxing the associated muscular tension.
Difficulties are just things to overcome, after all.” Ernest Shackleton, Explorer
In the early days of Dr. Nick’s career he worked for a rugby club. Here he was tutored extensively by a highly experienced sports chiropractor who had previously worked with the South African national rugby team – the ‘Springboks’. This experience taught him invaluable diagnostic methods and powerful techniques which he has carried forward into his everyday practice. More recently, and before moving to Canada, Dr. Nick worked at an exclusive and famous country club near Windsor Castle with professional athletes from all over the world. He specialized in treating professional golfers, dancers, fighters and tennis players.
The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease.” Thomas Edison, Inventor
Dr. Nick is passionate about travelling and has spent extended time in Europe, Africa and India. These experiences keep him grounded and appreciative of every facet of life. This grounded energy is something which is of great importance to him when it comes to meeting and treating a new patient.
Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference” Winston Churchill
